One amazing way to explore the beautiful Javea area on the Costa Blanca is on a motorcycle. Now the summer heat has passed it is the perfect weather to go out on a motorcycle and tour the winding mountain roads or beautiful coastal roads.
Javea is the perfect location for motorbike adventures, with access to routes in all directions offering spectacular views.
At the weekends you may find fellow motorcycle enthusiasts out on the roads or cyclists but most of the roads are quiet and without much traffic, which makes travelling along these roads that much more enjoyable. You can access all the routes by car even if you don’t own a motorcycle or have a motorcycle license, you can still explore the amazing roads in the Costa Blanca North region.
Javea to Calpe – 24 km

This coastal road offers beautiful sea views and has some fun twists and turns but is not a challenging route so anyone from beginner to experienced can enjoy this. It’s a short route of 24 km which makes it perfect for a relaxing trip and leaves time to have a relaxing lunch or refreshing drink in one of the many restaurants in Calpe. Or you could continue further south along the coast to the popular town of Altea and its fabulous beaches.
Javea to Millena to Castell to Javea – 150 km

This route is 150 km of inland mountain roads! Driving out of Javea towards Ondara, El Verger, and then heading inland to the traditional town of Pego. After passing through Pego the real fun starts climbing up to the little village of Vall de Ebo. Along the road to Alcala de la Jovada, which is also very popular amongst cyclists due to the winding roads, you can make a stop at the Cueva de Rull. These caves are some of the most beautiful in the Comunidad Valenciana. The road continues further inland, and you will notice how quiet these roads are with very little traffic. After a while, you will pass through little villages like Planes, Benialfaqui, and Benillup before reaching Millena where we turn around back towards the coast. The roads will get narrower, but the views and different landscapes are beautiful. Driving through Castell de Castells, Parcent, and Pedreguer we arrive back in Javea.
Javea, Xalo to Ermita de Pinos, Benissa – 70 km

This 70 km route passes through the well-known village Xaló. Famous for its wines and bodegas and the valley of vineyards. Driving out of Xaló we start climbing and the winding roads begin. Reaching the top, you will find two restaurants and the lookout point Puerto de Bèrnia situated at 620 meters. Then the descent starts towards the village of Ermita de Pinos. Running parallel to the AP-7 the mountain road leads us to Benissa and the way back to Javea through Teulada and Benitachell.
